Renting a car in Zanzibar is the key to unlocking the island's true magic. But to ensure a smooth experience, you need to be prepared. 1. Documents You Must Carry

Before you even step into the rental office, make sure you have:

2. Insurance What's Covered?

Our vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. However, glass, mirrors, lights, indicators, minor scratches, and damage involving another vehicle may not be fully covered. Insurance applies to the vehicle only not driver, passengers or belongings. An excess of up to $500 may apply. Our team is always ready to assist.

3. Inspecting the Vehicle

Never skip the walkaround. Take photos of everything even minor scratches. Use your phone's timestamp. Check:

4. Understanding the Fuel Policy

  2. Contact police (112) and get a police report required for insurance.
  3. Call the rental company immediately.

7. Returning the Car
